Charmoso Hillcrest/Mission Hills 3 BR + Casa

This property is exactly as listed -- and that's a very good thing. We felt at home the moment we walked in the front door. The living room is comfortable. The bedrooms are spacious. The kitchen is well-equipped. Everything was spotlessly clean. The home is well-located in a friendly neighborhood. We walked to several spots, but it was just a quick drive to other areas of San Diego. The off-street parking beside the home is a plus. When we booked the property, the hosts shared an extensive list of recommendations in the neighborhood that helped us plan our stay. After we checked in, they reached out to see that all was OK. When we reported a power strip that had developed a short, they quickly stopped by to switch it out -- and thoughtfully arranged to do so while we were out exploring the area. We knew we could reach out at any time if we needed anything, but we didn't needed to do that. Everything was great. Our only disappointment was that we couldn't use the outside patio area. It's a lovely hangout spot, but there was a pesky squirrel that would not leave us alone. We had to retreat inside. We suspect the squirrel had been fed by prior guests. That was unfortunate, but it was not the hosts' fault.Bottom line: This is a great property in a location that provides easy access to all the charms and attractions of San Diego.

Good location near all the things we wanted to do.

The home is located on a quiet little side street just a short walk from a lively yet relaxed commercial district. Easy walk to get coffee, shop or get a meal. The home itself was clean and comfortable, and the bedrooms were nicely appointed. The outdoor patio was a nice extra, a great place to have morning coffee or an after dinner glass of wine. The weather was warm during our trip but the AC units throughout the home let us stay very comfortable. We had six adults in our party and never felt cramped. The owners were very responsive to our questions and even managed to locate a couple items for us, which we greatly appreciated. We would certainly stay here again, we had a fine time in San Diego.
